Platinum Queen Beetle Dome

The royals of the Beetle world have emerged for May.

‘Dressed’ in metallic glazes with extra fine details, the clay shaped in positions like jewellery.

These are completely handmade one-offs that celebrate the natural world and what is possible with ceramics. I’ve mounted these in glass domes to give them a curiosities feel (with none of the sadness of death!)
